Maternity care is provided by three OB/GYN physicians, two certified nurse midwives, 24 registered nurses and two support partners, all in the context of Penobscot Bay Medical Center. We also have three consultants and a supportive staff to assist with breastfeeding.Nurse educators offer a full complement of childbirth education classes, including early pregnancy and young parent programs; hypno-birthing, breast feeding, infant massage and sibling classes; well baby clinics; and lactation support.We’re available 24 hours a day to answer your questions, even after you go home with your baby.
