Nutritional Services provides room service-style meals to patients at PBMC, allowing them to order from a varied menu when they're hungry. Food is cooked to order and delivered individually. The Nutritional Services Department also provides meals for our staff, visitors and volunteers in our cafeteria -- the Pen Bay Cafe --  overlooking Penobscot Bay.

Located on the second floor of the hospital, cafeteria hours and services are:

• 6:30  to 9:30 a.m. --  hot breakfast
• 9:30 to 11 a.m. -- snacks
• 11 a.m.  to 1:30 p.m.  -- hot lunch,
  soups, sandwiches, salad bar
• 1:30 to 4 p.m. -- snacks
• 4 to 6 p.m.  -- hot supper
  

In addition, vending machines near and in the cafeteria are always available. Menus are posted weekly.

In good weather, diners at the Pen Bay Cafe can enjoy patio dining.
