PBMC Quilt
The PBMC quilt is designed to capture the essence of Penobscot Bay Medical Center's first 25 years in the midcoast community. It hangs in the hospital's maine hallway, near the Patient Registration waiting area.
Like the hospital, the quilt is surrounded by pine trees and greenery, with the sailboats of Penobscot Bay on one side. The inner purple borders evoke the stone walls of our beautiful landscape, and the four corners represent parts of the PBMC family: Knox Center for Long Term Care, Mid-Coast Health & Family Planning, Health Connections, and the Child Care Center.
