Experts to Speak on Living with Chronic Heart Disease

Going Strong, Quarry Hill’s educational program series devoted to senior health topics, continues with a session on chronic heart disease on Monday, November 19, from 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Anderson Inn at Quarry Hill in Camden.

Presenters Dr. Ralph Hamill, MD, of Maine Cardiology Associates and Sheila Curry, RN, manager of the cardiac rehabilitation program at Pen Bay Medical Center, will discuss risk factors, treatments, and preventative measures specific to congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, angina and other common forms of heart disease. Also featured will be tips on living a full life post-diagnosis.
