The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Thunder Bay recently made a visit to the Knox Center for Long Term Care in Rockland, the first of many visits and service projects as the Coast Guard Cutter has adopted the Knox Center facility as its sponsor group. During their first visit, the Captain of the Thunder Bay, Lieutenant Matthew McKeown, a resident of Camden, presented the residents of the long term care facility with a framed photograph of the Thunder Bay performing its ice-breaking mission.
