Start a New Life Without Cigarettes 

The next session of the Freshstart quit smoking program begins July 10 at the Bok Medical Arts Building, 22 White Street in Rockland. Four classes will be are held on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7 p.m. on July 10, 17, 24 and 31.

The Freshstart program is designed to help you stop smoking as quickly as possible. This is a two-part process, stopping and staying stopped. You will learn new techniques for ending your physical and psychological need to smoke. Freshstart will give you concrete ways to handle two major obstacles: weight control and stress management. This program reinforces that you are the key to your own Fresh Start.

Thanks to a grant received from the Knox County Community Health Coalition, Pen Bay Healthcare’s Picker Family Resource Center is pleased to offer these classes to the community free of charge. Freshstart can be your start to a new life without cigarettes. Join us to quit smoking and stay quit. It is possible to be tobacco free forever. Carla-Jo Kaler, LPN, CVT, facilitates this program and looks forward to assisting individuals to become tobacco-free.
